School Life
School Uniform Standards
At AMBPS, we believe that a consistent and smart dress code promotes pride in belonging to our school community and ensures a neat, professional appearance. Wearing the school uniform is mandatory both within the school premises and when representing the school in the wider community.
Dress Code
Guidelines & Requirements
All students are expected to follow these uniform standards at all times.
School Uniform
Students must wear the official school-issued uniform at all times during the school day. Only school-branded uniforms are acceptable — no alternative clothing or accessories may be substituted.
P.E. Uniform
On physical education days, students must wear the designated P.E. uniform. Plain white sports shoes are preferred. Students should come to school in their P.E. uniform on scheduled P.E. days.
Footwear & Socks
Plain black shoes must be worn daily. Students are required to wear plain white socks. No coloured or patterned footwear is permitted.
Personal Appearance
All uniforms must be kept clean, neat, and in good condition at all times. Students are expected to present themselves tidily and take pride in their appearance.
Hair Standards
Boys must keep their hair short and neatly groomed — no gel or styling products are permitted. Girls in FS1 to Year 4 must tie back long hair neatly. All students are prohibited from using gel, wax, mousse, hair colouring products, or extreme hairstyles.
Hijab Policy
Girls in Years 5 to 9 must wear a hijab in white, black, or navy blue. The hijab should be neatly arranged and consistent with the school colour palette.
Nails & Accessories
Nails must be kept short and clean. Girls are not permitted to wear nail polish, kohl, makeup, fragrance, or jewellery. Wristwatches are the only accessory allowed for all students.
Compliance
Non-compliance with the dress code will result in an immediate request for correction. Parents may be contacted if a student is persistently out of uniform. Repeated violations will be addressed through the school's behaviour policy.
